ABC MOTSEPE LEAGUE LOG

ABC Motsepe League newcomers Ramatlaohle FC are rewriting the script in spectacular fashion, as they currently sit at the summit of the Stream B log in their very first season at this level.

The ambitious outfit, promoted alongside Makotopong Bahumi and Phalaborwa United, have wasted no time announcing their arrival. After 15 matches, Ramatlaohle FC lead the pack with an impressive 27 points, showcasing consistency, resilience, and a hunger that has caught many seasoned teams off guard.

Hot on their heels are Ngwaane City Motors, who trail by just a single point with 26 points from the same number of games. Makotopong Bahumi, another newly promoted side, are also firmly in the race, sitting third with 26 points—level with City Motors—setting up what promises to be a thrilling three-way title battle.

Bahumi’s season, however, tells a story of two halves. The side were log leaders at one stage and looked destined to dominate the stream, but their campaign lost momentum following the departure of key players. Among those who moved on is striker William Bopape, now with Tzaneen United, leaving a significant void in Bahumi’s attacking line.

Ramatlaohle’s rise, meanwhile, has been built on disciplined performances and an ability to grind out results under pressure. Week after week, they have shown maturity beyond their experience, proving that their promotion was no fluke but a sign of greater ambitions.

All eyes will now turn to Mokopane this Friday afternoon, where Ramatlaohle FC host Gosebo United in what could be another defining moment in their season. The match is scheduled to kick off at 15h00, with the log leaders eager to extend their advantage at the top and maintain momentum in the title race.

However, the journey is far from over.

Should Ramatlaohle FC maintain their lead and ultimately emerge as Stream B champions, an even tougher challenge awaits. They will need to navigate the highly competitive ABC Motsepe League national playoffs, where only the strongest survive and earn the coveted promotion to the National First Division (NFD).

The club will be hoping to draw inspiration from within—particularly their ladies team, who recently achieved a historic promotion to the Hollywoodbets Super League. That success has set a powerful precedent, reinforcing a culture of excellence and belief across the club.

With the title race tightening and pressure mounting, the coming fixtures will test every contender’s resolve. For Ramatlaohle FC, the dream debut season continues—but the stakes have never been higher.
