Chucks Raselaya Is Coming to Tzaneen United!

Tzaneen United have confirmed a new-look technical team ahead of the new ABC Motsepe League season, with experienced coaches Ludwick Tshamano “Chucks” Raselaya and Thabiso Masinga set to work together as co-coaches.
The confirmation comes from club owner Dennus Mafologela, putting an end to speculation surrounding the technical team after the two coaches were strongly linked with the club.
Raselaya, who was with Lebash Football Academy in Stream B last season, is a well-known figure in the ABC Motsepe League and brings valuable experience to the Tzaneen United setup.
Masinga, meanwhile, is no stranger to the club, having previously coached Tzaneen United. The coach from the Eastern Cape now returns to familiar territory as part of the new technical partnership.
Mafologela confirmed that both coaches will take charge of the team together, although he did not clarify the position of Moses “Pokker” Malatji.
Malatji played an important role towards the end of last season after taking over the team and helping United finish second in Stream A.
Often preferred in a co-coaching or assistant role, Malatji impressed during his spell in charge and helped United finish the campaign strongly.
The uncertainty surrounding his position means it remains unclear whether he will form part of the new technical structure or leave the club.
United will be hoping the new coaching partnership can help them go one better this season after narrowly missing out on the Stream A title last campaign.
The club lost valuable points through unnecessary defeats and draws, ultimately finishing behind the eventual champions despite putting together an impressive run towards the end of the season.
With Raselaya and Masinga now confirmed as co-coaches, expectations will be high at Tzaneen United.
The challenge for the new technical team will be to turn the club’s potential into results and mount a serious challenge for the ABC Motsepe League title.
