ABC Motsepe league side Winnerspark FC has dismissed their new coach Sello Chokwe within a month of his appointment.
The experienced coach was hired last month to lead the club in the coming new season but was unfortunately dismissed from his duties last week. Team boss Robert Mokgola said they decided to part ways with the former Baroka and TTM coach because his assessment period with the club had expired.
“Coach Chokwe was on a month assessment period which came to an end this month. He was not yet appointed head coach” said Mokgola. “To be honest we were not satisfied with his performance. He didn’t have any training program in place and the players were also not satisfied with him” he added.
Last season alone Winnerspark parted ways with three coaches including Coach Ivan Malahlela who was also dismissed within a month even when he had never lost a game.
Other coaches who were dismissed by the club includes former Swallows star Mpho Maleka who is now with Giyani Happy Boys and Peace Khosa who just promoted Nkowankowa Continental to ABC Motsepe league.
Earlier this year it was rumoured that Winnerspark were planning a reunion with their former coach Joel Mongalo but the deal seemingly fell off. It remains to be seen as to who will eventually lead the club in the new season.
