Namakgale’s Bonga Mathebula, a Grade 7 student at Laerskool Phalaborwa Noord, is rising to prominence in the swimming world.
He has earned the honor of representing Limpopo at the South African School Championships, set to take place in Bloemfontein this April.
Mathebula’s passion for swimming was ignited at a young age, and he has been tirelessly honing his skills with the Dolphins Aquatics Swimming Club in Phalaborwa. The club has played a pivotal role in nurturing his talent, providing him with the guidance and support necessary to excel in the sport.
Bonga’s impressive swimming career is already adorned with notable achievements. During his time at Kingfisher Private School, he participated in a swimming competitio , where he was awarded his Limpopo colors.
As Mathebula prepares to take on the best young swimmers from around the country, he is filled with excitement and determination. Representing not only his school but also his province, he is eager to make a lasting impression and bring pride to his community.
