The vibrant township of Ga-Kgapane is celebrating one of its own as acclaimed designer Portia Masoding, founder of the fashion brand Porsh Engross, secures a coveted nomination for Fashion Designer of the Year at the Limpopo Fashion and Creative Awards.
The prestigious ceremony will take place on 14 December 2025 at the Tzaneen Mercedes-Benz Showroom, Mercurious Motors, marking the grand finale of a glamorous two-day fashion week hosted by the Limpopo Fashion Federation.
The Limpopo Fashion Federation, recognised as the leading force behind fashion development and major runway events in the province, has curated an elevated experience for this year’s showcase. Attendees can expect high-end runway presentations, creative exhibitions, and a dazzling awards ceremony where winners will walk away with exclusive, undisclosed prizes reserved for Limpopo’s finest fashion talent.
Masoding’s nomination highlights her exceptional craftsmanship, innovative design style, and growing influence within the provincial fashion industry. Her brand, Porsh Engross, has become synonymous with bold creativity, elegance, and township-born excellence.
