Former Nkowankowa Continental mentor peace khosa has joined Mpheni Defenders as co-coach with Sydney Phuravhathu.

Mpheni Defenders have bolstered their technical team with the appointment of experienced coach Peace Khosa ahead of the new ABC Motsepe League season.
Khosa joins the Limpopo champions after leaving Nkowankowa Continental, where he guided the club to promotion to the ABC Motsepe League. The former Tzaneen United coach had been strongly linked with a return to his former side, whom he led to the ABC Motsepe League Stream B title, but has instead opted for a new challenge at Mpheni.
The appointment comes as Mpheni prepare for another push for promotion after winning the Limpopo ABC Motsepe League title last season before falling short in the national promotion playoffs.
Khosa replaces Zungu Nkosi, who has joined Mukondeni Young Chiefs, and will work alongside club chairman and co-coach Sydney Phuravhathu.
The partnership is expected to strengthen Mpheni’s ambitions in what is shaping up to be one of the most competitive ABC Motsepe League seasons in recent years. The return of Baroka FC and Black Leopards following their relegation from the Motsepe Foundation Championship is set to raise the level of competition significantly.
With an experienced technical team now in place, Mpheni Defenders will be hoping to build on last season’s success and finally secure promotion to the professional ranks.
