Former Stellenbosch goalkeeper Oscarine Masuluke is now officially a Polokwane City player

Puskás Award nominee Oscarine Masuluke has finally had his registration issues resolved and is officially a Polokwane City player.
The 33-year-old goalkeeper has joined City as a free agent from Stellenbosch FC, bringing valuable experience to the Limpopo outfit ahead of the new Betway Premiership season.
Masuluke is no stranger to the province, having been born in Giyani and started his career with local clubs Winnerspark and Baroka.
He later made his mark on the international stage when his spectacular overhead-kick goal earned him a Puskás Award nomination.
The goal caught the attention of some of football’s biggest stars, with Cristiano Ronaldo, Lionel Messi and Harry Kane all backing the goalkeeper when discussing their choice for the award.
Ronaldo said: “I have to give credit to the goalkeeper, he never goes forward and he scored an amazing goal.”
Messi said: “It is difficult to choose but I will go with the goalkeeper because he never goes forward.”
Kane added: “I guess it has to be the goalkeeper with the overhead kick. Incredible goal. The celebration matches it as well.”
Masuluke will now turn his attention to his new challenge at Polokwane City, where his experience is expected to play a key role as the club looks to climb higher up the Premiership standings.
