In an effort to ensure a return to the National First Division, ABC Motsepe league side Winnerspark FC might bring back former coach, Joel Mongalo in the new season.

This after the Modjadjiskloof based side finished fifth in the nine teams stream A league log last year with only 17 points from 16 games. They won only four, drew five and lost seven games.

According to team boss, Robert Mokgola the decision to bring back coach Mongalo has not yet been finalised. Mongalo was part of the Winnerspark team that gained promotion to the NFD league in 2001/2 season as assistant coach to Zambian tactician Edson Mumba.

He was also assistant to coach, Jacky Ledwaba in 2016 when Magezi gained promotion to the ABC Motsepe league for the first time. Last season he missed out on the opportunity to participate in the national playoffs when his ABC Motsepe league stream A winners, The Dolphins lost 1-0 to Mpheni Home Dedenders in the provincial playoffs.

Earlier this year former Bafana Bafana star, Stanley Kgatla was reported to have shown interest in coaching his former team but the deal seemed to have flunked.

Meanwhile, their boss Robert Mokgola has confirmed the return of their former player Kamogelo “NFD” Raseekela from SAB league side Josy United. Kamo was a regular player for the mighty Winnerspark few years ago before it was sold.

He later joined another ABC Motsepe league side Giyani Happy Boys before signing up for Jozy United with whom he failed to gain promotion to the second division twice. The talented defensive midfielder is expected to team up with his friend Thapelo Mokgola to bring stability in the heart of the Winnerspark midfield in the new season.
