Bolobedu-based Pipa Young Stars have officially clinched the 2024/2025 Hollywoodbets Men’s Regional League Baobab Stream title with one game remaining.

They achieved this remarkable feat by accumulating 66 points over 25 matches.

The team from Ga-Maphalle surprised everyone with their consistency, exceeding expectations in a fiercely competitive stream. Their nearest rivals, FC Rellen—who were favoured by many to win the league following the absence of perennial giants Josy United—sit in second place with 62 points from the same number of games. Even if Rellen wins on the final day and Pipa loses, they will still fall short, as the Stars have mathematically secured the top position.

The path to the title has been marked by determination, tactical ingenuity, and unwavering teamwork. Pipa Young Stars’ achievement is especially significant considering Josy United’s long-standing dominance in the Baobab Stream, where they held the top spot for the past three seasons. Josy’s move to the Molototsi Stream this season opened the competition, and Pipa seized the opportunity.

Having won the title, Pipa Young Stars will now represent the Baobab Stream in the prestigious Champ of Champs tournament, where the best teams from each stream compete for promotion to the ABC Motsepe League.

For Bolobedu’s passionate football community, this victory represents more than just a title; it symbolizes hope following the recent relegation of Thlothlokwe Golden Syrup from the ABC Motsepe League in their debut season.

As Thlothlokwe fades from the national spotlight, Pipa Young Stars soar to carry the hopes and dreams of Bolobedu back into the limelight.

The entire region now rallies behind Pipa, hoping that these fearless young warriors can go all the way and restore pride to local football.

Proud. Unyielding. Champions. Pipa Young Stars have arrived.
