Black Leopards have bolstered their squad with the signing of talented young midfielder Carreca Nkondo, a fan-favourite player who previously made his mark at Selwane White Vultures.

The 20-year-old midfielder recently completed his move to the Limpopo outfit after patiently waiting for his opportunity while the club was serving a transfer ban. Following the lifting of the ban, Leopards quickly moved to secure the services of the highly rated youngster as they continue their campaign in the Motsepe Foundation Championship.

Although Nkondo has officially signed with the club, he is yet to make his debut for the side affectionately known as “Lidoda Duvha”. Supporters are already eager to see the gifted midfielder in action, with many believing he could bring the spark the team needs as it battles near the relegation zone.

Nkondo has long been regarded as a fans’ favourite, thanks to his exciting style of play and natural flair on the ball. Known for his creativity in midfield, he possesses the ability to supply decisive passes and also contribute goals when needed. He is the type of player who makes the entire team perform better.

His road to professional football required patience and persistence. Before finally securing his breakthrough with Leopards, Nkondo had trials and opportunities with several clubs, including Polokwane City and Cape Town City. After years of determination, he has now earned his place in one of Limpopo’s most historic clubs.

Football runs in the family. Nkondo was trained and mentored by his father, Musa Nkondo, a former professional player who featured for Santos FC in the Premier Soccer League and is now a professional coach. Under his father’s guidance, the young midfielder developed impressive technical ability and strong tactical awareness.

With his skill, vision and composure on the ball, Nkondo is widely seen as a player with a bright future. He has the potential to rise to the highest level of South African football and could one day represent South Africa national football team.

For now, Leopards supporters will be waiting eagerly for the moment when their new signing finally steps onto the field, hoping the young star can help inspire the club’s fight to climb out of the relegation battle.
