Baroka FC need to win all their remaining games to avoid relegation

Baroka FC and Black Leopards are facing a desperate battle to avoid relegation with only four matches remaining before the end of the National First Division season.
The two Limpopo based clubs currently occupy the bottom places on the league table. Baroka FC are rooted to the foot of the standings with 19 points from 26 matches, while Black Leopards sit second from bottom with 25 points from the same number of games.
With time running out, both teams now have only four opportunities left to save their status in the division.
Baroka’s most recent result was a 1-1 draw against Gomora United, another side also battling near the bottom. Gomora United have 29 points from 25 matches, only four points ahead of Black Leopards.
Meanwhile, Black Leopards were held to a goalless draw by The Bees on Wednesday, leaving them still trapped in the relegation zone.
The situation is a dramatic turnaround for the two Limpopo outfits, who were pushing for promotion just last season. Now, they require a strong finish—and perhaps a touch of fortune—to avoid the drop.
Baroka FC will host Kruger United this Sunday, while Black Leopards welcome Milford on Saturday in what could be season-defining encounters.
